Tokio Hotel. Who has never heard of them!? They are THE German Super-Band and for some years international known and succesful. But how does this happen?

It all started with the twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz, who discovered already in their childhood their passion for music. At the age of nine Bill started to write his own lyrics and his brother Tom learned to play the guitar with the support of their step-father Gordon. After a short while they formed their first band "Black Questionmark", in which Bill took the part of the singer and the keyboardplayer and Tom played the guitar. Two years later the twins got to know Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer during a performance at the "Gröninger Bad" in Magdeburg and they formed the band "Devilish". Already at that time everyone noticed, these four guys are very special.

In August 2005 the four guys published, now under the new name "Tokio Hotel", their debut-single "Durch den Monsun", which was number one for weeks in the German and Austrian charts. Also their debut-album "Schrei" jumped to the top of the charts. This was the beginning of a great career.

Now they are known everywhere, whether France, Italy, Mexico, Israel or as currently in Asia, no matter where, people know Tokio Hotel.

After the second successful album "Zimmer 483" and several number-1-hits, the boys have now published their third studio-album "Humanoid". They played several Europaen-tours and even a club-tour in Northamerica. In nearly five years the band won countless awards, like the MTV Europe Music Award for "Best Group" in 2009, and have been awarded several times with gold andplatinum records.
